I wrote this song with my daughter in mind, thinking about the long journey we must travel in this life. I was overjoyed that it was my son, Rocco Mariano, who created the cover art for the track.

I wrote this instrumental song (Blue Mountain) a long time ago when I was around 16 or 17 years old. My son, Rocco Mariano, created the cover art for this EP, and I loved it. I don't remember how the idea of naming the song "Blue Mountain" came about, as that name could refer to several different places: a city, a ski resort in Pennsylvania, or a mountain range in Jamaica.
I wrote this song in 2020 for Pedro Miguel (my grandson), the week he was born. And when I finished this song, it was a beautiful morning on a rainy day. The drizzling drops of rain and the sound of rain touching the ground ultimately brought me inspiration, and the rest is history…Anyway, I hope you like the song as I do.
